Arduino, servo, potentiometer, hand fabricated.

During the summer of 2021 I was able to travel to Nevers, France to attend a 2 week Art/Tech program called NO SCHOOL. I used this opportunity to take forward a series of projects I started during the summer of 2020 while quarantining in rural New Hampshire. These projects began as a response to the isolation of the pandemic and the desire to engage in activities with friends while on FaceTime. This version was made in response to the quote, “Love does not consist in gazing at each other, but in looking outward together in the same direction” by Antoine de Saint-Exupery. See here for previous iterations. One of research assistants is working on a further iteration which will explore this holder in hand-carved and CNCed wood.
